food was good....service was slow considering we came after the dinner crowd had left. had to ask for chips and salsa. asked about the restaurant and was told "i just started....." and they walked away.
The Service was like a juggling act. We waited a while for food and it was just okay. There was a guy spray washing restaurant items out of the side of the restaurant, but the way the building is configured, you had to walk around him to not get wet. Just weird. The food was just okay. I have had better New Mexican food other places. Won't be back.
Authentic, delicious food. Their elote and Chile relleno with adobada meat was amazing! Their coconut jalapeño margaritas were the best margaritas we’ve ever had!
The food was very good and everything I expected after seeing the episode on Check Please Arizona. It isn't another "Mexican" restaurant - the emphasis on New Meixcan cuisine is very apparent and refreshing.
Our server Charles was awesome! Being that it was our first experience at La Ristra, he was extremely knowledgeable and met our dining needs, not to mention it was happy hour on Valentine's Day and it was quite busy. Having worked in the service industry going on 18 years, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The margs were tasty and the food delicious! My husband and I will be back soon!
The salsa lacks flavor and my quesadilla was soo greasy I couldn't eat more than a piece. My sons taco looked like they took a boxed taco shell and added chicken.
Being from Albuquerque, this place always makes me feel at home. Great service, food and margaritas.
