Rooms smelled like smoke and Marijuana. 321 and 322. Was graduation weekend so nowhere to put us so we endured. People were nice but a huge letdown in the room smelling so bad.

Staff was great, we had a nice view, however, our room and hotel shared areas were very very dirty. Our room had not been vacuumed. There was black sludge around the bathroom sink and fixtures in the bath. I thought it might be hard water stain, but it wipes right off. There were Cheetos spilled at the elevator entrance that were there all weekend. This hotel could be nice, but it hasn’t been maintained or properly cleaned. Horrible stay!! We had two rooms. Toilet didn’t flush. They had to come and clean a nasty, nasty tub drain of gobs of hair so it would drain. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. No soap in either rooms shower. And in one room we had the TV never did work. Bathroom hook was broken so nowhere to hang a towel. Room smelled terrible. BEWARE!! Paid a fortune for the rooms because we were there for graduation. Will never stay at any La Quinta again.

In the years my child has attended WVU, we’ve stayed at the Morgantown location often, as it’s one of very few hotels that allows dogs. This place had always impressed us with the cleaning standards it upheld. However, this round was disappointing. The clerk upon check in wasn’t pleasant. The lobby reeked of chlorine and stagnant water which became more powerful at the elevators that are across from the pool. This place is nasty and disgusting. When you walk through main doors it's got a nasty smell...the pool has green slime in windows, and is very nasty not clean and all..housekeeping could do better. The bathtub in room has pink dried puke 🤮 floors needs cleaned n vacuumed.. I wouldn't give this place not even one star. There so much I could go on about I will never stay at this place again and I surely don't recommend this place to anyone.
