Horrible experience, hotel is nothing like the pictures online. The area is not good. The elevator and hallway floors are dirty. Walls damaged, pool was not in service and when I asked about it I was basically told too bad. When I asked for a manger I was not allowed to speak to a manager. While packing up to leave the front desk called me saying the pool was ready to use and it was still filthy. We stayed here Oct 10 and waited to write this review in hopes that the hotel would refund us, but our refund was denied so I just want everyone else to be aware. We came to check in at 1:30 which was denied due to the rooms still being “cleaned”. We said okay and left to enjoy our day at ACL, coming back to check in at 11pm. The room we entered was disgusting. There were dirty used towels on the bathroom floor, boogers and food in our unmade bed, and blood stains on the wall. Well my ac didn’t work the lady did come up and reset it but it stopped again and the new lady in front did offer to move me but it was 3am I didn’t feel like doing all that especially if I check out in a few hours room was clean beds were Amazing and let me tell ya about the breakfast!!!! Disgusting and disappointing stay. I would have gave no stars if there were an option. This LaQuinta in Austin North is completely run down. From the outside it already looks bad, but the inside is even worse. The hotel smells awful, the carpets are filthy, the walls are grimy, and the showers have no pressure — plus there’s no hot water at all.
