This hotel looked like it gave up on life years ago. The carpet was so filthy it looked like it had survived multiple natural disasters and never once seen a vacuum. Stains everywhere, nasty smell, and the floors felt sticky enough to steal your shoes. The entire place is in horrible shape. Front desk staff member was the only positive about this place she was beyond professional and very kind. BUT This place is absolutely disgusting! Everything is stained and filthy. 1st room had blood stained blankets, stained walls and floors, shower floor was covered in stains and black stuff. Informed the front desk she "upgraded" us to deluxe suit and immediately upon entering the new room overwhelming smell of urine. And everything was the exact same. Immediately turned around and left. I could not stay in this hotel.
I went down for breakfast and they told me they only do continental breakfast during the week and only full breakfast in the weekend, not good breakfast during the week 😬
Can't recommend. Staff wasn't very friendly, the establishment is in a rather bad condition. Carpets in the hallways were all filthy and severely stained, partly loose. I know that the hotel is not responsible for their customer's behavior, but many guests in the rooms next and adjacent to my room would party all night, order food with Uber and pile their trash in front of their doors in the hallways. Long road trip, 2000 miles. Could not find a single hotel/motel open in Austin. 5am because driving on the road so long. Manager is (nice lady with glasses) super nice and amazing service language. We were so exhausted and this La Quinta was our oasis. Top tier service Amazingly reasonable price Pet friendly (small fee) Rooms were satisfactory This La Quinta was a saving grace and blew me out of the water for a first impression Trust this location ❤️
