Such a disappointment. It started out great. We were greeted warmly by everyone upon arrival and seated at our choice of table by the nice fire. Another table came in shortly after and their orders were taken and given water while we sat. We finally got water which was very warm and the menus appeared. Food is unseasoned and bland, but cooked correctly. Portions are small for the price. Service is friendly but inattentive. The place is gorgeous! Edit: the drinks were great
I was walking around trying to find the entrance. I saw three staff members talking, so I wanted to ask them where to go. I was standing right in front of them, but they completely ignored me and kept talking to each other. I don’t know when I will visit Mystic again, but I will never come back to this place.
We ate here twice during our stay and the food was exceptional. Understand it is a hotel restaurant but the food and service is very elevated. The menu is small but delicious. The roasted romaine salad was great. It had a rich creamy caesar dressing that was smeared on the bottom of the bowl so you could have as much or as little of it as you wanted.
