When we first sat down, me and my parents water glasses were visibly dirty. The food wasn't too flavorful, and there were bugs flying the table the whole time. Wouldn't recommend
I celebrated my birthday yesterday at La Palapa restaurant. They set up their patio area—which is lovely and beautifully decorated with string lights and air conditioning—just for us. The table looked wonderful, complete with flowers and decorative lighting; everything turned out beautifully, and my friends and I were able to dance until 1 AM. I was thoroughly pleased. I can't say anything bad about this place. Ordered the steak burrito and the mole was outstanding! The cheese sauce was great too. I loved the hot sauces and the little crunchy wheel things. Friendly service. I'll be back.
Really disappointed with our meal here. The food was oversalted across the board, and the mahi was so dry it was hard to get through. The flavors tasted like they came straight out of a can, with an odd aluminum aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy anything on the plate. The house margarita was another letdown — it tasted like it was made with the cheapest tequila available, mixed with an overly sweet, low-quality mix.
