Today, my daughter age 6 had her tooth extracted and 2 silver stars inserted. All three procedures were completed in 1 visit. I made it very clear to Dr. Patel at La Mirada Dental Care that I did not want my daughter to be put under any type of sleep sedation. Dr. Patel understood my request and used a shot to numb the areas that needed work. He and his nurse spoke softly to my daughter throughout the entire visit and allowed me to be present at all times. Today was my first dentist appointment in 14 years and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. The front office staff was kind and patient and took time to explain all of my options when it came to procedures my insurance didn't cover. The Technician and the Doctor were not only clear in their explanations and instructions, but quick and efficient in their work. And on top of all that, they put on netflix for ya. I mean how often can somebody say they got to watch Lord of the Rings when getting fillings? I highly recommend this... read more
The front office was very helpful. Dr. Patel and staff were very hospitable.
I was seen by Dr. Patel today for a routine cleaning. I was very impressed with the detail and time he took along with giving me recommendations on brushing based on my exam. I highly recommend him.
