The atmosphere was amazing! Great views, the music was lovely and the staff were nice and helpful. However, with the exception of the lobster mac & cheese and the steak, the rest of the food was terrible, lacked seasoning, over cooked. For the name and locale it should have been a specialty on seafood and Spanish fusion cuisine. If you want the most spectacular views and place with the coolest vibe in New York, if not the world, GO. The food was amazing and timely. But hey, let's get real.....at times the service was a tad slow-but when you go to places that offer magnificent character, isn't that always the case? Do you go to the Grand Canyon expecting a 6 star restaurant? The prices are extremely low for what you get. Security at Frontgate were very polite on the way in and out as well as valet parking . I had a 9:40 reservation I checked in at 9:30 didn't sit down till well after 10. The service was not that great although our waiter seem like a nice guy we had to ask for napkins and silverware and wait long periods of time before he came back to check on us. Food was decent drinks way overpriced .Atmosphere was good nice view on the Hudson.
