We were there on Friday at 12:30.. lunch rush. Parking was full so we expected a wait. To our surprise we were greeted immediately. The lady had a?little trouble with the order but we joked with her about it... hope we didn't hurt her feelings, lol. I had been asking for 2 years for my fiance to take me there, as they have THE BEST chicken Caesar sandwich ever. They did not disappoint! Was great! Everyone was friendly and service was great. I'll be back!
I always get incredible food and great service! What's not to love?!
Date night with Hubby. Food was good. Went to get pastry. One person at counter filling an order. Two other employees chatting nearby. Ask if they can help and they point to the busy employee and say she will help. Wait several minutes with no help and ask for manager. They finally locate him and he is busy, so have to wait longer. Food isn't worth the aggravation. Went to Smallcakes for yummy cupcakes and good customer service.
It is La Madeleine French Bakery & Café, the food is consistently above average. The customer service is lacking though. The line is slow, our food was ready and already getting cold by the time we got to the cashier. I went for a pastry after we finished, there were two young ladies neither of whom ever acknowledged me and both ended up walking off. I didn't get my pastry.
As always, service was great. We sat outside in the patio area and stayed a few hours. The food was on point along with the staff. I wish we had one I Forney, but it's worth the drive!!!
I love la madeleine's. I always get the quiche and strawberries Romanoff. Yum. I actually spilled my tea and the staff quickly replaced my food. Very friendly staff and great food and mango tea.
