About this business

I do not like writing a bad review but the food was cold, the chips was cold and hard, the tacos was small, I ordered the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 8 large shrimp covered in cocktail sauce with a sprinkle of cilantro. It had no avocado or onion in it. It came with no crackers either. After our tea and coffees arrived no one at our table was offered a refill. The food was extremely pricey for the size. Our ticket was $60 for one tea, coffee, above mentioned shrimp cocktail, beef tacos, and a queso. Oh the chips and s... read more

The food was cold, unimpressive, and they charge extra for flour tortillas instead of corn. They're also the only Mexican Restaraunt in San Antonio that charges for chips and salsa. The only good item was the frozen prickly pear margarita. Other than that I don't get all the hype. Make your food better and tastier and I'll come back again and pay those prices.

Their food is just okay. The service was just okay. It was overpriced. They make you pay for chips (thick as hard leather) and salsa? At a Mexican restaurant? C'mon. There was a bee in the bottom of my friend's margarita and our silverware was dirty. It's so loud inside that you can't hear each other speak. That's the last time I go there.

We had the best table with a beautiful view!! Our bartender was a little snootie and seemed annoyed at us for ordering drinks while we waited. She never once smiled. Once we sat at our table with a gorgeous view, our server, Jaime, took really good care of us. We had the queso flameado con rajas as an appetizer. It was delish! We ordered el pastor tacos ( the best I have ever had), Carne asada tacos and a seafood campechana. All very yummy! The margaritas were refreshing and tasty! I will definitely be going back!

Always good at the airport but lacking at the one in Alamo Heights. Cold food, they ran out of lemonada after one cup but still charged $3. Had to ask for salsa and limes for our tacos and it took so long to get it we were almost finished.

Awesome food & great variety of different items: food, liquor, aguas frescas, etc. Reasonable prices too!
