I do not like writing a bad review but the food was cold, the chips was cold and hard, the tacos was small, I ordered the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 8 large shrimp covered in cocktail sauce with a sprinkle of cilantro. It had no avocado or onion in it. It came with no crackers either. After our tea and coffees arrived no one at our table was offered a refill. The food was extremely pricey for the size. Our ticket was $60 for one tea, coffee, above mentioned shrimp cocktail, beef tacos, and a queso. Oh the chips and s... read more

Cute little atmosphere outside minus all the screaming kids!! Queso was amazing for 5 minutes then it dries up and sticks to the pan...$12 for a few bites of cheese and grease! I ordered bistec tacos...extremely dry with NO flavor, very plain..,no salsa, cheese nothing but tortilla and meat. 3 for $6....not worth it at all! I'm extremely disappointed, service wasn't the best either. I heard so much about this place but I'll definitely save my $55 & hit the taco truck on the way home next time!!
Great service. Amazing food. Wonderful live music. The atmosphere outside was perfect. We only waited about 20-30 min for a table. My only complaint was the restroom..... broken soap dispenser (pieces were in the sink) and looked like it hadn't been given a proper scrub down in a while...
service sucked!!! Waitress said margaritas were $5, 5 minutes later she comes back and says they are now $10! Rude! No wait staff smiling, some just plain mean. One bumped my elbow and kept on going... still no drinks, I could go on and on but I only have so much space for this review. Needless to say but we will NEVER go back to La Gloria again
The food was good, but come on...any Mexican food restaurant in San Antonio should serve complimentary chips and salsa!
Service was horrible. I was ignored by the server. He brought appetizers and never came back. When he did to hand out plates and we indicated we didn't need any, he dropped them on the table next to us. Manager did attempt to rectify the matter by offering free drinks and an appetizer.
This place is overrated... and what kind of place DOESNT have public wifi (and make customers feel like idiots for daring to ask)... with everything else the Pearl has to offer I doubt I'll be back anytime soon.
Sweet Margaritas, diluted, plastic glass. Too touristy.
1st time there, service was great. The course we had was alright, fish tacos were good, hot sauce was good the shrimp cocktail with everything in it wasnt that good, not sure if it was the fish that had a strong taste it to or the clam but didnt like it. My wife ate the shrimp in aqua chile i tasted it, tastes plan could use more flavor. I would like to return here and try more of their foods.
Love the food, the drinks and the atmosphere! Just love everything!
