Great food, good prices – I've only been here to La Fuente a few times, but I enjoy the food and atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent. The fajitas are great! The shrimp was good, but I'd stick with the meat dishes. Their chorizo was very flavorful. The chicken is excellent. They play all the soccer matches and Dodgers games without it interfering with a pleasant dining experience.
newly remodeled but not worth it – Service terrible, food was cold, everything took to long. No one comes and checks to see if you are satisfied. Do not waste your money.
Neighborhood secret – La Fuente is one of those small neighborhood restaurants that you try to keep to yourself. It's not gourmet...it's just good, consistent, flavorful and filling. The dining room is small...and not fancy--chairs are mismatched and tables sometimes a little sticky with old varnish. The good food is what keeps bringing neighborhood regulars back.
