Our chef Sal was born in Sant'Andrea, Calabria and has had a passion for the culinary art since a young boy. He held a position as the Head Chef at Colonial Manor, a catering hall in Old Tappan New Jersey, for 10 years. In 2000, Sal and his wife Cathy opened La Fontanella and have since expanded their restaurant with the addition of a private party room. My family loves La Fontanella! The hospitality, service and especially the fantastic food is always consistent. We just celebrated our daughter's Confirmation there and everything was simply wonderful. This is our favorite place for Italian! Thank you Cathy, Sal and staff! See you soon~
