awesome cakes and goodies This bakery is a one stop shop for cakes, breads, and they will even cater your holiday dinner!! I get my cakes here all year long b/c they are great portions and very reasonable prices. Their speciality is the tres leches ( three milks cake). La Flor Yucatan Bakery will also cater your Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner! The dinners are traditionally prepared w/ all the fixing and trimmings at half the cost of the competitor. This place is definately one of a kind!

Salbutes-DELICIOUSO!! This bakery is a perfect place to pick up a traditional dinner for the family. The mayan cuisine is delicious and that is not including thier variety of pastries. My favorite, the Ojaldra(big pastry cake type) stuffed with american cheese and ham, sprinkled with sugar, I love it. You need to try their delicious foods, like the Salbutes and Panuchos, ooooohhhhh good.

Anyway, it was pretty fierce, complex, spicy, and satisfying. I learned from another board that it's black from a spice mix made with burnt tortillas and chiles. I wasn't crazy about the pasteles... read more
