My account is frozen for a reason. COVID is not under control and it’s impossible to workout with a mask. Besides that ... they’re NOT offering group classes options as before — so why are members being to “unfreeze” their account when someone doesn’t feel safe to return AND they’re not getting what was offered before COVID due to pandemic? I’ve contacted the Tarzana gym via email twice ... and have yet to hear back from them. Truly frustrating.
I’ve sent/mailed my cancellation letter two months ago and this business is still charging me. When you saw I can only cancel my membership through mail and then act like you don’t receive it is horrible business practice. You finally cancelled my partners membership (which I sent out both cancelation documents at the same time) but won’t cancel mine. I’m so done with this company and they need to cancel my membership.
I just had absolutely worst customer service experience in my life with LA Fitness in Parsippany. I came to sign up with a club since I relocated and my current gym is over 25 min driving. I applied for the guest pass and came to the club with the intention to get basic information and sign up. I canceled my account in beginning of March because i forgot to cancel last year when covid19 hut, So I recently did it online and they said they didn’t receive anything! So i was charged with out notifying me. So i thought I canceled but I guess theres a whole process i had to do! Im out of a job i cant pay my rent or bills, im starving and they overdraft my already empty bank account . I lived off my account for several months until now!! None of the Sensors or Telemetry straps work on the bicycles. When you input a level from 1-10, what ever level you input, it disappears and you are back to 0.

They make you print a form and mail it in to cancel your membership. My printer is broken; there is Covid 19 in the air; and I just cancelled my Youtube TV seemlessly over the internet so the technology is there. LA Fitness should have an option to easily cancel without printing and mailing, especially right now.
These scam artists sold us a family membership plan where my wife and I both signed an agreement. After 2 years of everything going fine, this guy (Felix) suddenly declares me to be a “guest” who can only come in with the primary account holder, my wife. When I told him this is not what we signed up for and each of us should be able to come in without having the other tagging along, Felix lets me know that I need to carry the gym membership contract copy on me to prove it.
