On Saturday August 12th 2023, I was robbed at La Fitness ******. Someone cut the locks off the lockers and stole phones and wallets. I was appalled at the total lack of concern from the personnel at LA Fitness. It was like 'Oh well bad break'. I had to contact the police myself and fill out my own police report with *******************. I was told La Fitness has no liability what so ever. a ****** worker spoke to me rudely today. he said that I cannot use one machine for more than 5 minutes and if someone comes up and wants to use the machine, I will have to give up the machine immediately. I asked why I can't use the machine. ****** said I wasn't born in the US and he could cancel my LA fitness membership. I asked him is he a racist? ****** answered yes. employee ****** is a racist
Be careful of These companys total scam , dont take my word and read their reviews on consumer fair act website. very common practice of charging canceled accounts for months then IF or when you catch them they offer 3 months refund. that can happen monthly basis and imagine how many ppl are getting scammed this way thousands of dollars to the corporations pocket for this unethical practices. Signed up for personal training lessons telling the salesman that i was going to have tests done for a bad heart valve and may have to cancel the lessons. He assured me to just bring in a Dr's note if there is a problem and LA Fitness would immediately cancel the personal training lessons. Sure enough i needed a stent but in my valve and was told not to do heavy lifting for the future. The weight area is always in shambles no matter what time of the day I go. Weight plates and bumpers scattered all throughout the floor causing tripping hazards near the squat racks and benches. I bet it has never been organized not once since Ive been going. Same exact issue with the dumbbells. Just tossed everywhere. I understand that people should put their weights back when theyre done but not everyone is considerate. In April, 2022, my wife joined LA Fitness in ***********, *******. During her enrollment, she was sold a one-year personal fitness program which included 3 one half hour training sessions per month. She told the salesman that it was imperative that she completed this in one year as we were scheduled to move out of the area. The salesperson told her that would not be a problem, of course. Run from this company!!! they are nice to welcome in and get your money but when you need their help or better information they can be really nasty and mistreat you as a customer really bad. I have LA Fitness sub brand esporta club membership, tried to cancel my membership but told by customer service that I have to stop by local club to cancel the membership, but all my local clubs rebranded into LA fitness which can review my profile but can not cancel my membership. Also told by customer service I can download a cancel form and send it to the corporate, may take days to cancel.
