Stay away from the club. It is unsanitary. It's not worth your hard earned money. They care about selling memberships, period. And whatever you do, stay out of that slimy pool and hot tub. Nasty and gross.
I had an LA Fitness membership since 2017, but I emailed the corporate office in March 2020, stating "Effective immediately, please cancel my membership." I called the ** branch but the building had just been closed during the height of COVID, so I couldn't come in person to cancel. I have been a customer for almost five years. My first personal trainer before Covid there was terrific. Since Covid, they have been unable to provide personal trainers at 6:00 a.m. so that I can train before work. Four trainers work at the gym, but none are available before 8:00 a.m. I have tried multiple times to give the trainers a chance to come at 6:00 a.m. or even 6:30 a.m. On at least four occasions the trainer did not show up for the scheduled session.I continue to be billed for sessions that they cannot or are unwil... read more
The gym does not maintain the exercise equipment. I have to go from one elliptical to another to find one that works. The club in *********, ******** is supposed to be a *********** ***** and I am paying an upgraded price for membership there. The corporate management team should take more responsibility for what they provide by way of useful equipment.
I mailed my cancellation letter to the corporate headquarters as it says on the LA Fitness website. It says to give 5 business days for it to process, but they never processed it. I was charged for the following month and had my credit card refund me and block future payments to them. I received a call from LA Fitness about the payment not going through. Thursday May 26th, I went to the LA Fitness at ***************************************************************************. to meet with ****** whom, I thought was a personal trainer and who would be discussing personal training sessions with me. The meeting was not with ****** alone but included a VP ****. **** walked me through a few exercises with ****** observing, explaining what it would be like with a trainer. GM is disrespectful and harasses clients. Have been coming here for over a year. Once in awhile my girlfriend comes when we have a chance to lift together. Over all this time he stops us after checking in at the front and starts being rude for going to workout. Brings my guest over an says she can no longer use my unlimited guest pass due to a crunch memenershil she had over a decade ago. Continues to be rude, unprofessional, and visibly starts shaking. Training Sales practice horrible. They sign up people without finding out if they can afford it.Very misleading, what one might think is a onetime payment turns into a monthly payment.They coast my daughter **** dollars for a service that she never needed or used.Corporate when from can't help to 50% then 25% to buy out. Keep in mind that depression issues are involved in this., which can easily be proved in any court. My suggestion is stary far away not worth all the aggravation.
Harrased by training coach. Already told staff about this issue and I got another call again about the same dude calling me over and over non stop. Disgusting
