So their salesman got me to sign under false pretenses. He told me that that my membership allows me to use any Esporta Fitness gym AND LA Fitness gym interchangeably. Which I found out later, wasn't the case. Also he told me that they would be open 24 hours a day in about a month, once the pandemic slowed down, which I found out was also a lie. If they got me to sign a contract by lying then shouldn't that contract be void?

The gym was the most unkept and dirty gym Ive ever been to. Was only given a brief walk through of the gym then rushed to sign up for a membership. After signing up and being in the gym for a few minutes brought up the disorganization and dirtiness of gym to staff, who said they would clean it. Went back several times over then next two days and nothing had been done/cleaned/organized. I came for a free pass I get even by text, I had my appointment today at 9am they had me waiting and finally a little girl supposed to be the manager told me I wasn't able to get a free pass at least I signed for a membership, she not even gave me her name she was rude and racist. I feel offended and dissapointed I was going to cancel my other gym membership but with the way I was treated forget it. I'm a elite athlete world champion in boxing. I was a member of LAF in ***** **********. I was harassed by training staff not to let my friend who was also a member train me as it was taking away from their busines. That I would have to sign up for training sessions with them. I asked where does it say in any contract that we can't do that? No answer. Another day we were again harassed and my friend quit. If I could give this gym negative stars I would. Other than my trainer there, who was amazing this staff is horrible. Was under contract for personal training and hurt myself and have to have surgery from this. They said you are out of luck cant do anything about it. Upon my further review of the contract there is an out both for medical disability and a buyout option. Which neither time ***** told me on the phone about. Burlington Club.Do your homework before joining!First and Last payment plus Initiation Fee followed by an annual fee!Member Services not interested in waiving anything.Gym is ok.Showers are disgusting!!

Cancelling your membership is a joke. They say you have to come in to the club in person even though they can see the phone number youre calling from. They never send an email to confirm the cancellation so if someone else really was trying to cancel my account I would get the email and be able to stop it. This is not a business, it is more like a criminal Syndicate. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.I had a membership with this Company for about a year, for the last 6 months I did not set foot in there due to the fact that I moved out of the area. They do not allow you to cancel your membership except in person. I cancelled my membership after a lot of back and forth with multiple club staff members two weeks before my billing date. LA Fitness still charged my card. They make it nearly impossible to cancel and then blame oh so and so was supposed to cancel it to avoid having to process your cancellation.
