This club has an opening problem. This Club has a service problem. During the summer months and recently as of today October 6th 2021, the fitness club has opened late. Their stated opening time is 5:00am.On too many occasions they are NOT open at 5:00am. Additionally, they almost always seem to be out of hand soap, which is extremely unfortunate since we are in a Covid-19 pandemic. My membership was paid in full for one year in December 2020. I feel cheated.

I remember when I paid for my membership, the lead trainer told me the $19.99 a month option was a better deal than the $9.99/month, but he specifically asked me not to tell anyone. That was the first sign of the shady nature of the company. After I purchased a membership, I was advised to get set up with a personal trainer. I felt pressured/intimidated by the lead fitness trainer to sign up, almost as if it were a requirement rather than a suggestion. He also did not explain the trainer policy well at all; I was under the i... read more

I would like to inform about a problem that I have with City Sports club in *************. On 2/11/2020 I signed a contract for a personal trainer for 6 months & total cost $1299, for $200 per month & initial payment $299. Had only 3 sessions. Then COVID started. To visit public places was not recommended for older people . Im 69 now & of course didnt want to attend gym. Later gym was not working at all. They charged me, I think, for 2 months. Gym was opened in April, 2021, but I didnt want to go because of my age & now alre... read more

The facility is nice, but LA Fitness/ City Sports use unethical practices of attaining and retaining clients. The contracts are wordy and so employees are trained to breeze through contracts and mislead clients in to signing contracts. The facility is not fully built so all amenities that are promised to clients are not available, COVID practices are not being done and there is no measures being taken by the company to compromise with customers who do not feel comfortable continuing training during this time with COVID, what... read more

How is this gym not closed yet? The health department needs to visit this place asap and shut it down. Within 10 minutes of a workout here with a tryout pass, I knew I would not become a member here. Outdated, rusted broken machines and equipment. Who knows how old the sweat marks are on the treadmill. Staff doesn't seem to care or have any personality or even look like they want to be there. The environment is dirty, water filters need to be changed, bathrooms are gross. Good luck finding a spray bottle to clean your equipm... read more

If I can give them a lower review I would.I have followed every single instruction to cancel the membership, unfortunately none of the steps I took was effective enough to prevent LA Fitness from continuing to charge my account several months after cancellation of my membership. I wont recommend signing a contract with this corporation.

LA Fitness intentionally makes dealing with them difficult. I emailed to cancel my account and was told I had to go I to the store. They are now continuing to withdraw dues from my account and take entirely too long to respond to email.

August 23, 2021 I went to work out at the LA Fitness on *************************************** - upon not even being there an hour a receive a text message that fraudulent activity may be happening on my credit card come to find that someone had broken the lock that was on my locker and stole my personal possession. It was bad enough that my things were stolen but the experience with the staff was even worse, they barely even said two words to me, no apologies no attempt to say that we will investigate the issues. The other... read more

Rather than actually assisting me and giving me some sort of informed help, I was basically thrown down a rabbit hole of paper work and contracts. I simply asked if I could use my VIP guest pass, which I could totally do on my phone, giving my girlfriend 14 days and allowing us to easily access the gym to work out. Instead of confirming that I could in fact simply give her a pass, I was told I could not and that I had to pay a day pass of $15. Then when I asked about simply adding her onto my plan as a family member/friend, ... read more
