Please write an in depth complaint about LA Fitness employee ***** making me feel uncomfortable as a guest and taunting me from previously being sick for the past two years. My cousin ask me to get out the house and go to the gym with her because she knows I have been battling depression as well as anxiety and stress. After 2 yrs at this gym here's what you can expect: -always filthy, rarely cleaned, i've seen the same tumbleweeds of hair and dust for months at a time -much of the equipment is broken or only partially working for weeks to months (ex. counted 27 cardio machines down at one time), most of the equipment 20 yrs old and *****, no safety inspections (had a cable break, a peddle fall off a bike, and numerous other pieces of equipment break)-discourteous clientele, dropping weights, leaving gym bags all over, not wiping equipment... read more

The salesman that i was forced to speak to in order to activate my guest pass had absolutely zero integrity! I came to workout with a friend who has a membership and because i wasnt interested in signing up he would not honor my guest pass. They might as well be scam artist. It's 2023. The fact that you need to have an in person meeting , or mail in a letter to cancel a membership is flat out egregious. I sent in my cancelation letter in March. I even requested a new card from my bank just in case. Buyer beware...if you sign up, LA Fitness will make you jump through a lot of hoops to cancel your membership, such as mailing your cancellation request certified ** mail (just in case they forget to process the first one or it gets lost in the mail) or walking into a physical branch. Even then, your membership will run another month or so cause you pay for it when you sign up. The staff (not all, but 97% of them) are the worst people at the gym, they are rude, disrespectful, they want to be friends with the members even if the members dont want to have interaction with them, they start harrasing the members. Worst experience ever !!! People are a bunch of thiefs they charge me for service that was never giving to me and now they do not want to credit my account the manager for the LA Fitness from Hunters Creek his name is ****** very unethical and a thief.
