Nobody's perfect but the foodies and area chefs who frequent La Fiesta are testaments to the high regard in which it is held. Best story I can recall after 40 years of eating here most Fridays was when a sheik staying in Hunting Valley with his entourage, during treatments at the Cleveland Clinic, called to place a take out order. Uncle Jimmy said, "Sorry, we are busy."
Used to be outstanding but the food has gone downhill while the prices have gone up. The decorations and remodeling is probably the reason for the prices going up. Why has the food quality suffered? Maybe they got a new cook?
Richmond Heights staple, authentic MX with chile rellenos and carnitas to chicken mole, love the beans and cheese appetizer with guacamole to go with the complimentary chips and salsa! And their side restaurant in the same plaza La Taqueria is what I call the Mexican Subway...where else can you get chicken mole or poblano peppers and onions, real Mexican cheese, and even my blue marguerita on the rocks... Cheers to Brian and Jimmy, family owned and run. Good place. Nice people.
Always a good experience - have been eating there for 20+ years - never disappointed once.
The food was very expensive for what you got. Service was not great. Once seated waited forever for our server to take our drink order. Than he forget one of the drinks. For someone like me who has eaten authentic mexican food this was nothing even close. Dont think i would ever go back
$50 for a pitcher of margaritas!! I believe that says it all
