YUMMY DRINKS – UMMM...MY FIRST BAR XPERIENCE WAS GREAT...TRY THE COUNT CHOCULA...UMMM UMMM GOOD.EVRYONE WAS SWEET AND APROACHABLE,INCLUDING THE BARTENDERS AND STAFF
Must stop on any NELA Pub Crawl! – I made this the first stop (well...second after La Arca de Noe Pupuseria for dinner and nasty Salvadoran beer) on a recent Highland Park pub crawl. Great n Dark atmosphere, awesome bar staff, Friday nights rock! – The Little Cave is a great bar to go and hang out with your friends and to also meet new people. Everyone is sooo friendly and the bartenders know exactly what they're doing. I love the fact the bar is nice and dark, the seats are comfy and there are plenty of places to sit. There are no bad attitudes there and it doesn't take forever to get a drink!
My new fav. Friday night bar ever!!! – i went to the little cave a couple of fridays ago and had one of the best times ever!!!! The drinks were strong, the staff was very friendly and the girl dj ROCKED!!!!! i got there early, but by 11:30 there was a line,arrive early to avoid the lines, there was NO COVER, which was awesome, a good mix of locals and hipsters, and eveyone was nice and friendly..i HIGHLY recomend this bar to anyone on a friday night..!! i wish they played a lil more dancey or hip hop music, but whatever she ... read more
Cool find – My brother brought me here on one of our bar diving nites and it was so cool! Im used to those little neighborhood bars filled with older people but coming in here was a different experience! It didn't even feel like we were in Highland Park! The atmosphere is dark and the place is mod and cool! I need to come back and try their signature drinks because I just stuck to my cranberry-vodka...oh! and they had an old skool video game machine..
little cave on tuesdays is totally awesome!!! – i'm a big lover of good bars, and when i find one i like to shout it out to the world. I love the little cave, especially on Tuesdays. The people who go are such a good mix of locals, Hollywood hipsters,and your average joes from all over. I went the last couple of tuesdays and its 80's night. Come with a group or make friends with the regulars... – The Cave is a dive on some nights and a trendy night spot on others. It's a great bar for smokers. The back patio (for drinking and smoking) is comfortable and pretty roomy and the side patio is also open for smoking (but don't bring your drinks out there after 10pm). It's Halloween year-round at this funky Highland Park theme bar. – In Short A vintage sign of upside-down bats beckons Eastside scenesters inside this kitschy neighborhood joint with a spooky-friendly motif. Foam rocks behind the bar give the illusion of a cave-like setting, as do the black spray-painted acoustic ceiling and cute bat-shaped cutouts on cabinets. Red bubble lights cast a warm glow throughout the main room, where comfortable bench seating wraps to the small DJ station.
Vonderful – I have been here a few times and all those times I have to admit the DJ really knows his tunes. This is a cool place to just sit back and chat with great background music. The place is kinda small but then again, it is a dive bar! Usually come here to meet up with friends then head out to another bar. They have a small patio in front for the smokers. I dig the whole vampi-rish mood and have indulged in a Count Chocula myself, pretty nice chocolate martini.
