I came because im trying to find a dentist that does normal extractions (apparently not many do). La Costa is listed as in-network with my insurance. My benefits state $0 deductible for in-network services but they want to charge me here. After I argued my point several times and showed them the list of dentists covered they said they could put it in through one of their names BUT my quoted price could go up. The people working there were very nice to my kid and I so far they have done a great job with her teeth.
First time there. Great place. Friendly staff! We loved it. My husband had 3 extractions done and they did an awesome job. She explained everything she was doing. Also always asking him if he was okay or if he felt anything.
Our dental assistant Liz was so nice and explained everything step by step on what type of treatments my kids were getting.. My kids love coming to the dentist now that we come to La Costa instead of Ocean Dental (where they would hold them down).. Thank you La Costa for treating us like family!
They went way above and beyond to help me super super great staff great that were also great with my kids will definitely be telling everyone this is the place to go
It's been a couple years since I tried this place, but it was a total scam. The doctor tried to tell me after a 10 second exam that I needed 5 (FIVE!) fillings - I've never had a cavity in my life! Then the "hygienist" came to clean my teeth, but she only polished them, which I thought was very strange especially since I have a permanent retainer that always needs deep cleaning.
