We stayed for a weekend getaway with my husband and 2 kids (5 and 10 years old) thinking that it was the perfect hotel to stay in Puerto Rico with our family. First of all, it's not a family resort because the ocean is not at all kid friendly, the flag was in red all weekend and the hotel lifeguard told us that there were many fatalities due to people drowned in the ocean, that was our WELCOME COCKTAIL! Beautiful resort. Love the scenery, cleanliness, food, attentiveness of the staff. The only negative was the ocean view room I thought I booked was a partial ocean, overlooked a very worn parking lot and construction site! Not at all what I wanted. Also, the spring breakers came in. Was looking for peace and serenity. The morning ocean was very peaceful and beautiful early a.m. You even receive great service on the beach. The room and our balcony was our sanctuary for our 4 night stay.

My wife and I came to San Juan for a family wedding. We booked our stay at La Concha because of their impeccable reputation of taking g care of their guests. And that they did front the front desk, wait staff, bartenders to the maid service, they did not disappoint. We will be back soon. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Note to self.
