We were guests at La Concha before/during/after Hurricane Maria. Before the hurricane, the hotel communicated clearly and promptly what to do to ensure safety during the storm. The staff (who stayed and worked during a category 5 hurricane) moved all guests to the ballroom for the entirety of the storm and served hot food for all three meals. La Concha is kicking everyone out!!! Vacationers stranded there from #hurricanemaria due to no flights are now being told they need to leave! My girlfriend is there and being told she needs to leave and find a shelter!!!

Good afternoon Adriana and thank you for contacting us. Currently, we are granting guests stay extensions should they ask for one. However, we don't have vacancy for new reservations, as the other rooms we have have been completely filled with guests that work for Federal Agencies committed to Puerto Rico's reconstruction. As soon as we can start hosting new guests, we will definitely do so.
We have stayed at La Concha Hotel and Casino so many times, that the staff is more like family. Trust. xo
We stayed a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved La Concha! They upgraded our room. The staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean and well kept. Loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants. I can't wait to visit again. My heart goes out to the beautiful people of Puerto Rico after the hurricane, especially to the staff we got to know. Hope your family and friends are safe
