Okay I read previous reviews prior to our first stay. This mislead me on a few items. We loved this hotel. The staff were wonderful and so is the facility. They are open and recovered from the recent hurricane. Yes, the island experienced damage but they are recovering. No better way to help recovery but to spend some tourist money there! Oh and be sure to take one of the catamaran cruises. So beautiful!

We returned home to Maryland last night (Christmas Eve), from staying at La Concha for six days to celebrate our daughter’s 21st bday. We had a nice stay and would recommend this resort, though we wouldn’t stay in a suite with the pullout sofa again; as a family, we’d have to pay for two rooms in the future. The pullout in the suite was horribly uncomfortable. We, twice, requested an additional mattress for it, hoping to soften the effects of the painful bars under the thin original mattress.
