I love this place. Doesn't matter what night, I always have a blast.
Arrived last night meeting friends who were already inside. At 10pm the cover charge increases from $5 to $10. Expecting to arrive prior to 10pm but the uber came later than expected pushed back my arrival to 10:03pm and I only had $5 in cash for the cover charge. One of my favorite bars. You either get it, or you don't.
Just got kicked out because my friend was served a beer with blood on it and tried to return it for a new one. That bartender is out of control. Patio bar, early Sunday evening. 7:ish. My first visit to this bar...I won't be back, but rest assured, I will tell everyone I know about this experience.
Been coming here for over 15 years. I love it. It's like the "Cheers" of the real downtown L.A. Daytime and nighttime. It will surprise you . I guarantee you'll always come back.

Came here this past Friday! It was awesome and great service. Front bar was awesome! Love the reggae music and the vibe of the dance floor! 2 thumbs up!
