What can I say other than we all had a wonderful dining experience at La Ciccia. The owners greeted us with warmth and a sense of familia...our wait staff was fantastic and knowledgeable and most importantly personable...the food was exquisite...I have never tasted a lamb dish prepared so deliciously....the restaurant's location is wonderfully situated in Noe Valley which gives you the feeling of a European village.....one of the best restaurants in town...and, before I forget...you have to try the octopus....it is prepared ... read more
Everything here is excellent, but a few standouts/must orders: roasted calamari, Bottarga pasta, sea urchin pasta, seared lamb with saba. I do miss their pizzas, but luckily you can just go across the street to La Nebbia. Aside from the food, though, the real reason to come to La Ciccia is Max and Lorella, the husband and wife team that make you feel at home every time. True gems!
