Paulette Le Pore Motzko I am a Food Writer on RestaurantsOrangeCounty.webs.com and came here today with my friend Wendy. Everything was outstanding as usual, but it each time I come I try something I have never had before ANY WHERE! You really get the kind of feeling that this is a family owned business with lots of pride in all the right places. They use quality ingredients, they've created unique dishes that I have never seen on any other Mexican Restaurant menu. Great job Cassandra and company!
Good food and prices This place has pretty good food, and the prices are especially good for how much food you get. The space is roomy but my wife thought it felt "warm and cozy." It's worth checking out.
Tortillas are out of this world The home made tortillas are the only reason I would go back to this place. A lady makes them there and the kids can watch. The food was very very average. Even the re-fried beans were void of flavor. Prices were average.
Best Mexican place in HB OMG, so good!! Food was excellent--we shared a combo plate, guacamole, and a pork and avocado burrito and it was all delicious. The margaritas were good too. On top of how good it all tasted, it was reasonably priced and the people there were so nice. We're definitely going back.
a GEM on Edinger Ave, HB!!! The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was wonderful. I had a Grilled Chicken Salad and that in itself was wonderful with the vinegrette dressing. The homemade tortilla was excellent. It is nothing that you see in the stores. This was warm and freshly made. The chips and 2 kinds of flavorful salsa was also nice. Great home made Mexican food at La Choza La Choza is fairly new to Huntington Beach. Not a lot of people know about it yet, but when they find out, they become new regulars. The food is home made and very good. They have a tortilla station with the tasty tortillas being made right in front of you. A great outdoor patio for al fresco dining and that is where they do their salsa night on Tuesdays. Yes, La Choza is a find!
