Being from the Pacific Coast of Mexico I love seafood, even though Louisiana has great seafood restaurants, I often miss typical mexican dishes. Lucky me in Louisiana there are mexican restaurants and la Carreta is the best of all of them! Their ceviche, diablo shrimp and margaritas is a must try! The staff and atmosphere are always so nice that makes me feel back at home. Thank you for that!
I stop here every time I have to work on the north shore. The food is great, but so is the management and service. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. I'll definitely stop again next week when I'm back for work.
