This is an ideal date nite spot. Sat at the bar and was immediately warmly greated. Order a Classic margarita each - and they were good, very good. Then we got to thinking about our food choices. We got Tacos - you gotta do it. They were so good - almost over stuffed with meat, and fantastic value. My new favorite restaurant! Wonderful cut above Mexican cuisine. We had ceviche, empanada (do not miss!), puerco afono and snapper pippian. Everything was fresh, authentic and delicious. The drinks were wonderful.
Food was spicy even though they told us it wasn't. Portions are small for the price, except enchiladas seemed a descent portion size. This isn't your regular Mexican cuisine. You won't find chips/salsa as a complimentary beginning or even on the menu. No fajitas either. Food has a high end plated appearance, with a lack of flavor blends to back it up for the small portions and price. Service was fine. If I could leave 0 stars I would! Let’s start with the fact that they charged us $6 per margarita for flavor mango to be exact. The margarita on happy hour was $8 and I was charged $14 per margarita during the 4-6 hour my bill was $42 once we asked for the manager he then adjusted the price but the bartender balled up the the receipt with the signature on it and threw it away because on the receipt it was stated that that was insane to be charged a $6 up charge for a margarita!
Their duck mole taco was one of the best tacos I have ever had.
