Great service & Flavorful Italian Cuisine – I usually come to La Bottega for a quick take-out dish. They are always pleasant, courteous and provide excellent service while I wait. And the food is fairly priced and great! It's a wonderful neighborhood secret of West LA!
Excellent – I've been a customer at La Bottega Marino for a few years, but mostly having it delivered. First I used to order from their location in Larchmont Village, then, after I moved to the westside, from their West LA location. The food is always excellent, and in partuicular I love their mushroom polenta appetizer and penne ai fungi porcinifor main course. User review by balgus – I ordered lasagna and a pasta dish delivered to my place. The delivery was fast and efficient. The food was still hot. They even wrap a little piece of bread to compliment each meal. The food itself is great; the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place.
Classic Italian deli and mini-chain for taking out or noshing in. – In Short This stylish trattoria is a combination restaurant and neighborhood deli. The menu includes starters such as a caprese salad of fresh buffalo mozzarella rounds and tomatoes. Homemade artichoke ravioli, chicken piccata emboldened by lemon-zinged green sauce, and three-mushroom pizza--with shiitake, porcini and button fungi--are hearty entrees. The desserts include a popular tiramisu and an apple tart.
Great food, good service – A great little restaurant perfect for an after-movie meal. Its close proximity to Laemmle's Royal and the Nuart theaters makes it a great stop while strolling down Santa Monica. Affable service, reasonable prices and great food make this place a prime stop of mine. Everything on the menu is great, from the sandwiches/salads to the pastas to the fantastic pizza.
