Stopped by to see a red van they had advertised. Didn't see it on the lot. So I called the next day to have a man tell me that his son took it for a "test drive". I told him it wasn't there the day before and isn't there yet today. He said it would be back after 2:, I go there at 5pm. There sits the van, keys in it, flip flops, papers, sunglasses. Purchased a vehicle site unseen. The dealer is very friendly. One issue I had with the transaction is the vehicle had over 2,000 additional miles on it compared to what was listed on Gurus. The owner/dealer explained it was being used as a demo. I understand inventory gets driven, especially at a used car dealership. Over 2,000 miles is excessive and should have been disclosed. I place a lot of trust in people to do the right thing. This is a case of maybe why I should not in the future.
Drove two hours to lapeer to see a Jeep, and an older man said that it is at a friends house. If you are advertising a vehicle on facebook and your website, i expect it to be on the lot!!
Dealer responded to inquiry in a timely manner. Saw the car - was not pressure to buy anything. Aaron answered all of our questions and was very professional.
Called and emailed the owner Goldy Spurlock, and he responded right away with information that I asked about. Although there were some calls that he didn't return right away because he had other customers, eventually everything turned out great and I purchased the vehicle without ever driving it. Goldy was very accommodating processing the purchase electronically, and I'm looking forward to getting my vehicle soon. Highly recommend LA auto sales!
