Every single staff member I met was very nice, friendly, and professional. The nurse & xray tech made me feel very comfortable and they were so nice. Dr. Clarke was amazing! He was very thorough and explained what was going on with my knee and hip. I did not feel rushed at all. He took his time & I felt very comfortable. He worked with me on a recovery plan. I’m so happy I found SOS!
One of my family went to Clarke for THR. Person has spinal fusion & it necessitates special placement of the implant which was not done correctly. She literally can not sit down since day of installation. Hip mechanically impinged bc implant has 12-13 mm of overhang & at wrong angle in her body. She rarely leaves house bc car is excruciating. Dr Smart was amazing. Spent time explaining my situation and the options to address it. He is kind, listens well, instills confidence in his ability to fix the problem. Would highly recommend him and his staff.
Dr. Axelrod has helped my knees, reducing pain and improving function. Office visits are very quick and efficient, and problems and options are clearly explained. I highly recommend him if you have knee problems.

Everyone at the office, including Dr. Axelrod, was kind and competent. We were in and out within a half hour.
Dr smart has been my surgeon for my shoulder since 2015 I've had a total of seven surgeries on both shoulders due to work related injuries and wear and tear he always did a great job fixing them but I was better at tearing them up because I worked too hard and pushed them too hard and didn't let them heal good enough but through it all he was patient he let me know that the consequences of how I work and treat my body or going to be what they're going to be and there's no magic fix for stupidity he was not rude about it he's... read more
