I cannot speak to Dr. Kyle Mitsunaga’s surgical skills, but I must say that my experience with his office has been deeply disappointing. The staff displayed a cold and unsympathetic attitude, showing little regard for patients in distress. Rather than providing support, they seemed to focus on minor procedural details as a means to delay or deny care. Dr. Kyle Mitsunaga is an exceptional surgeon who combines his medical expertise with genuine compassion. He takes the time to listen, explain clearly, and treat every patient with respect and care. He is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and has great outcomes in the care he provides.
If only 0 stars were an option. I can't speak on the Dr himself but his office staff is horrible. I got a referral to him from my PCP months ago after I met Dr at my child's appt and we discussed my spine history and he advised me to call his office for an appt for myself, which I did. The office lacked communication to schedule, obtain medical records, and even had the audacity to call my referring PCP office and tell them I wasn't responding when THEY told me THEY needed to work on getting records. I fractured my disc and was unable to sleep or even lay down to rest without being in terrible pain. With my job I have to help patients with exercises and also work as a personal trainer so I missed a lot of hours from the injury. Dr Kyle was an absolute blessing and got me back to my workplace shortly after I saw him. Surgery and recover went really well, and I never had to take anything other than a few Tylenol post surgery.
