Hour and a half waits, at least, for every single visit I've ever had with this doctor for more than 5 years. Dr. Himsl is fine, but his office manager Kim sets his schedule so that there are lines and crowds of patients waiting everywhere and when you finally get seen for about 5 minutes, there's never an apology or acknowledgement for the wait. This doctor is not easy to schedule and the first appointment was available two months and two weeks in the future. Dr. Himsl was recommended so I thought it was worth the wait. The office asks for numerous documents and records to be available prior to the appointment. I made numerous calls to ensure they had what was needed from my GP and only found out they did not on the day of my appointment. This has led to further delays in seeing the doctor. I am sure Dr. Himsl is great, but wow, this has got to be easier.
After being a patient for years with Dr. Himsl, we finally are moving on. The behavior, attitudes, and lack of response or communication of any sort are atrocious. The Doctor is good, but his "Employees" lack any sort of professionalism and we really feel the Doctor should speak to them. Numerous times, weeks would go by without any type of return calls. I did not get a chance to see or schedule an appointment to see Dr. Himsl or any of the nurses because the front office/reception was so very, very poor. Frankly, it was embarrassing. That a doctor(s) would allow (and pay money to) front office/reception personnel--the first point of interaction for a patient--personnel that act so unprofessionally, speaks to the doctor(s) I believe. How can a doctor allow that? SMH I'll never go back there. It truly was embarrassing.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. When Dr. Himsl first thought there was a possibility of cancer, rather than quickly suggesting surgery, he took a compassionate and scientific approach. He first suggested a relatively new urine test that confirmed a 40% chance of cancer. He then ordered an MRI which showed three areas of concern. Only then did you suggest a biopsy. Dr. Kyle Himsl is an outstanding doctor and second to none. He is professional, caring and committed to doing what's best for his patient in terms of their physical as well as psychological well being. I am grateful for the life-saving care that has been provided me by Dr. Himsl.

Each tome I see Dr Himsl he devotes his full attention to me and my medical issues. He explains everything in a very understandable manner and always asks if I have any questions before I leave. Further it is clear that he is not always looking to put me through any Unnecessary procedures or tests- unlike other Urologists I have seen. His office is extremely efficient and friendly. Dr Himsl is a genuine nice and caring person in addition to being an outstanding doctor.
