I’m from Galveston and I came up here to see my boyfriend and we decided to come here to Kwik Kar to get my oil changed. Not only did they change my oil, but they followed COVID-19 guidelines for Texas during the entire duration of my visit and also checked all my fluids and filters too. I have never had such fast service before in my life and I felt so comfortable with my car being in their hands. I will be coming back to this location for future services! Thank you Kwik Kar for the excellent customer service!
Whoever was suppose to write down who is next to get their car inspected next must have failed to put down our car. I knew we would have to wait a while but once I saw cars getting inspected that showed up an hour later than us, that's ridiculous. Maybe service is better when people can actually go inside in person. Everyone has to wait in their cars. I'd tell anyone to just keep driving and find somewhere else to get their car inspected.
This place sucks!! My step-son took the car here for a state inspection and they failed it for having too dark of a tint job on the front windows. We bought the car brand new in 2015 and the dealership did the tint job. It has passed every year and we have not touched the tint job. 1st time we’ve been here and will definitely be the last. Their measuring tool for tint is a scam. The owner refused to use a new device when I went up there as the one they use is old. I appreciate them, so much. I took my car in to have the blinker bulb replaced, and they didn’t even charge me. I’ve always used them for the auto inspection. They do all sorts of repairs on your car!
Waited while employee just looked at me. Been a few times prior and place was a lot busier. So I waited patiently. Two people after me went ahead while same employee just looked. I said I was here first and got ignored. I'll change my own oil for now on, thanks. Wasn't even busy.
