I’ve been eating at Kushiyu since the 1980’s- and EVERY meal has been great. Can I give six stars?
it took an hour and a half to get served
Dinner with Saki at $75 a pop had better be good, and it is. We went there last night for a second time. Very nice menu offers a good variety. There’s something for everybody. Mind you it’s not a fancy place. It’s clean with simple decor. Richard, our server did well to manage our large group of 11. They’re also open late; we left around midnight.
I’m big on sushi, my business partner and I ate at many sushi spots but the type of fish this place has is amazing....chill spot and great food.
Wonderful atmosphere, huge sushi bar, food is fresh and exquisite. A little pricey but worth it. Highly recommend.

The best sushi place in LA area. We used to go to this place 10 years ago, moved to a different state. Went there few days ago, still the best Japanese restaurant!
