I very much like the way he presented my options. My left and right knee has arthritis and suggested needle shots to lubricate the joints, before a full knee replacement.
I was scheduled to see a Nurse practitioner but Doctor Hort saw me instead. He had done a wonderful job repairing my achilles tendon 14 years earlier. He hasn't changed a bit - - great bedside manner - - took the time to go over options for my foot condition. I'm very happy with the service I received.

Dr Hort answered my questions concerning Haglands Deformity & bone spurs on my ankles after 2 visits. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory which helped when pain and swelling got bad. However, he wanted to do an open removal of part of my heels as well as the spurs and reattaching my achiles tendons. This would involve being non-weight bearing for weeks in a boot and cast on both sides..I found out there are other surgery options which would involve less invasive /arthroscopic procedures and less healing time.
