Forgets everything he says during appointments and is horrible at following through. Made me feel like I was crazy. Maybe he was a good Dr. at one point, but now he’s indifferent and apathetic. Literally contradicting himself every time I saw him or communicated with his horrible MA.I woke up from my procedure crying and in horrific pain. He wouldn’t even come in the room. Communicated through his nurse that he wouldn’t give me anything for the pain and if it was really that bad, I should go to the ER. I didn’t want to risk ... read more
Great guy really helpful and showed concern and effected a positive outcome.
I needed an upper endoscopy and I didn't have a gastroenterologist. I first met Dr. Bodily right before my procedure at Central Utah Surgical Center, while I was on the table about to go under anesthesia. He patiently listened and answered my questions, I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt like he cared about me and that I was in good hands. The nurses and assistants were great, too. The procedure was smooth. If I ever need another endoscopy, I'll go to him. Nobody asked me to write this review, I just remember a few months a... read more
I wouldn’t go to him if you’re a young person having abnormal problems. I went to him 4 years ago, and complained of pain in my upper right abdomen after eating. I went so far to suggest that I thought it was my gallbladder. Because I was a 20 year old male who appeared relatively healthy, he was pretty dismissive and even made comments about “arm chair physicians” always think abdominal pain is caused by gallbladders, but then assured me that wasn’t the cause of my pain. Years later, my pain got so bad that I finally went t... read more
I have had two colonoscopies and one endoscopy with Dr. Bodily. He said he saw "redness and inflammation" in his findings despite my severe daily stomach pain & weight loss. He never tried any medications on me or any specific diets. Fast forward to 8 years later and I now have Crohns disease, multiple hospitalizations and intestinal ischemia in my 20's because of the lack of care I received from him. Just got out of the ICU and needed him to refer me to a more competent specialist and it took his office over a week to send ... read more
I’ve felt comfortable and at ease in my appointments with Dr. Bodily. He is very knowledgeable, explains things well, and is thorough. I’ve been very pleased with my experience.
Dr Bodily is smart, friendly and an excellent communicator. He has cared for my GI health needs for many years and through many significant events. Most recently, he provided care before and after my liver transplant.
It was a tele med appointment but Dr. Bodily explained everything fully and let me ask questions and then he recommended that I get a manometry test and we would go from there. I have had that test and I am waiting for him to review the results and call me back.
Explains everything well. Very professional. Procedure outcomes much higher than I would have ever expected. Outstanding in every way
