Love the concept, but extremely disappointed in the actual experience. We came in around 3, grabbed a couple plates, and then watched as empty containers passed by. Before you ask if other tables grabbed them: I could see them come out empty from the kitchen. Disappointing compared to the one in Little Tokyo. Both variety and quality were markedly different. Somewhat the same set up, check in on the kiosk, but the hostess was seating 1-2 people whenever. The conveyor zigzags the seating area, with the regular sushi on rotation and the upper belt for special orders. Once I sat down and ordered my drink I watched the belt to see what was available. A goated restaurant and so worth it and fast
We had a great family outing at Kura Revolving Sushi. The kids had a blast and ate a ton, which meant everyone was happy. They were especially excited to see the drink robot in action after spotting it in videos and photos beforehand—definitely a highlight. Between the crispy rice, hand rolls, and taiyaki ice cream, there was plenty that stood out.
