Dr. Kumar is patient, knowledgeable and really took the time to listen to my son, rather than just pull out his Rx pad. We've been working with him for almost 2 years and his treatment has made all the difference. His staff is responsive and will always try to accommodate any request for appointment or appointment change. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Came to Dr. Kumar looking for help with my anxiety/depression. After divulging my very long fruitless history with anti-depressants, he opted to put me on an anti-depressant that I had taken many times before that has never worked. After that, he put me on a newer one, which I hesitantly agreed to try. After seeing no results, I asked that we try something tailored to treat anxiety. A week later and he still has not responded to me after telling me he would call me last week. Not trustworthy.
I was referred to Dr. Kumar by a long time friend after I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. Although I commute about an hour to visit with Dr. Kumar once a month, I would never consider trying to find another psychiatrist closer to home. I have been seeing him for three years and have since referred three of my family members to him. Dr. Kumar is a caring and compassionate individual that quickly gained my trust.
Dr. Kumar is one of the most caring and understanding doctors I have ever known. He takes care of my entire family! I would trust him with my life! He is very thorough and genuinely there for his patients!
