Dr. Kumar and his staff were wonderful and compassionate for my surgery (this is my second - I had sinus surgery 10 years ago). HIs surgery unit vs. the hospital setting is a better atmosphere for minor procedures. I received more attention from the nurses in the recovery room.
I needed a lingual frenectomy so badly, it was affecting my eating habits. I was scared, though... I didn't like the idea of messing around underneath my tongue. Dr. Kumar must be some sort of magician because he was able to calm my fears, perform the procedure painlessly, and have me out of there in less than 20 minutes. Granted, it was one of the faster procedures that an ENT could do, but the way Dr. Kumar and his staff approached it was impeccable.
Dr. Kumar helped me through a very scary thyroid cancer. He performed a difficult surgery and helped me through the recovery. He rechecks every 6 months and is very conscientious about how i feel and how the medication is working. Dr. Kumar is very easy to talk to and very professional.
I like Dr. Kumar. He is a very compassionate, intelligent, skilled caregiver. I brought him a very tough to diagnose problem, and he has been working hard to find a solution. His staff are also very well trained, and seem to care about the patients.
Dr. Kumar , and his staff are top rate, and treated me like the Rock star I always wanted to be! After about 3 weeks my head still feels like someone left their flipflop up there, but I am healing swimmingly. I have my fingers crossed and use my neti pot 3x's daily. Thanks again, Hollis
He seems like a nice guy, and promises to help, but if you tell him more than one symptom, he will focus on one and ignore the others. The office never follows up. They never call with test results, despite their promises, even if you are panicked and worried. If you ask for something to reduce your suffering, they promise to phone in a prescription, but never do. I don't know if it's the doctor, or staff. All they did for me was foul up my insurance. I'm suffering, and they don't care.
