I've only taken my son to Dr. Kumar twice so far, but my experience both times has been positive. The staff in the front are pleasant and extremely competent.

I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times.

Were the waiting room chairs comfortable at this pediatrician's office? They were average Does the pediatrician interact with both you and your child during appointments? Yes, they interacted with both of us If your child is sick can the pediatrician see him/her on the same day? Yes, if my child is sick they get them in right away Did this pediatrician have toys, magazines or TV's in the waiting room? Yes

Does this provider ever overbook appointments here? Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking. Were you able to relax during your appointment? Yes Would you refer this provider to a family or friend? Yes Does this pediatrician emphasize preventative care, such as child safety and nutrition? Yes, they informed me about child safety and nutrition Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call? No, they are really great about answering the phone right away

They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all.

The doctor is very nice, but he sometimes fails to perform a full exam which results in misdiagnosis. My child has had pneumonia and strep throat, which were diagnosed by the hospital the night of his appointment (with a subsequent three day hospital stay) and an immediate care clinic the next day, respectively. I would recommend asking for tests to be completed if your child is ill and the appointment is not for a routine examination.
