I asked for a consultations with Dr. Avery Kuflik prior to having Mohs surgery. Such an awful experience. He NEVER looked at my face just read off the pathology report. I asked him several questions regarding plastic surgery and his answer was "whether I do it or a plastic surgeon does it you will have a scar". Thanks Doc. Had to wait another 3 weeks to see another Dermatologist that performed the surgery. The kicker, they want to charge me $50 for that so called consultation.

Dr Kuflik performed a procedure on my face under my left eye. If was a sensitive area due to the possibility of deformation of the area. Dr. Kuflik's team took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me. The Dr. then also explained in detail how the procedure would go and also the possible circumstances if the cancerous area turned out to be larger than expected. He did not make me feel rushed at all and I felt totally confident in his abilities with the amount of time he spent with me.

Dr. Avery Kuflik, 10 STAR Doctor! He took excellent care of me from start to finish! Dr. Kuflik is Fabulous in soooo many ways! Professional, Compassion, and Genuinely cares about His patient's to say a few! Where there was fear.......He made me feel at ease. If you need a GREAT Doctor for this type of care...This is who you are looking for! Just Loved the concern and care I was given at this office! I will call this office: "THE DREAM TEAM"

For many months I was plague by a skin irritation. I had consulting with (2) other doctors who could not determine the cause or the treatment that was effective. I turned to Dr. Avery Kuflik and in one visit he identified the cause and provided me with a prescription that gave me a swift strong recovery. I have been seen by Dr. Kuflik for over a year now. He is extremely knowledgeable! He has diagnosed my family members, and I have referred my friends to him as well. He has ALWAYS been spot on! He takes the time to explain procedures, and made sure that I am comfortably with what is going on. I would highly recommend him!

The receptionist was brusque and unfriendly. I did not feel like I was welcome there. Although I made an appointment with Dr. Julianne Kuflik I was seen by an assistant. That was never made clear when I made the appointment. My skin exam was very quick and cursory. The one place I pointed out merited a biopsy, but I was told they would only call me about the result if it was malignant. I had to call back three times, two weeks later, to get the report. So I did not feel they were professi

Would not recommend. No eye contact during appointment and interrupts the patient continuously. Very condensending. I suggest he returns to school for further education in his field. There is more to dermatology other than skin moles. He is lacking education regardless of the fancy hangings on the wall.

I am a patient at Dr. Kuflik's office, and the care that I have received there has been excellent. His staff is always professional and courteous. I have always been informed of everything that is happening and I feel confident in the skill of his entire staff, especially his Physician's Assistants. There is a very short wait time to be seen, and his office is immaculate. That is important to me. I would recommend his practice and I will continue to come all the way from Staten Island.
