It reminded me that Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are not medical doctors (MD/DO) and their training is significantly different, which matters when things aren’t simple. I got a second opinion from a physician, and the difference was obvious. For anything beyond basic care, stick with a doctor - it’s better to be cautious than sorry.
