We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

The donuts are melt in your mouth delicious and we just recently had the tastiest German Chocolate cake for a birthday

Kruta Bakery is a nice establishment that has a delectable selection of pastries. The only true fault is their cake. Growing up in the area, this is the go-to for most birthdays and parties. Sadly, the icing for these cakes has a cloying sweetness.
I am new to this area and my Grandmother and Aunts told me I had to try this "fabulous bakery". So Saturday I decided to try them, when I walked in I was pleased by overall look of place. That is where it ended. There were 4 clerks, not one said anything to me(2 other customers).A clerk walked to the counter and said "What can I get you?'
