We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

Been going to Kruta's since I was able to walk. I'm 62 now. Grew up on the strudel's and the stollens. Wish they would have Pazcki's more often. Childhood favorite. Keep up the the tradition of best pastries ever!!
I grew up down the street from Kruta. Their staff is always friendly and fast. They are often packed but it moved quickly and customers tend to catch up with town news while they wait. Every year I get a cream horn for my sister for her birthday. They're cream horns are THE BEST I've ever had, as are the rest of their doughnuts and pasties.
I GET ALL MY HOLIDAY BAKERY HERE SINCE 1970. EXCELLENT CHOICES!

So every year I get a Kruta's cake for my birthday. I so look forward to it. I'm talking eat it until I'm sick and then eat some more. Every chance I get, for every occasion that I have.
