We have seen Dr. Patel many times for my daughter's vision needs. My daughter is deaf and has other medical needs, and we found Dr. Patel to be interactive, kind, and proficient. We are so thankful to have her as part of our care team!
I would give a negative rating if possible. As a pediatric doctor you expect a doctor to treat your child with in a calm manner and with the knowledge of how to engage with children, including children with special needs. She most definitely lacks a genuine care for taking care of children and does not have beside manners. It's very sad the experience my son had today with her and needless to say we will not return. Amazing doctor who was thorough and personable and fixed my infant’s eye immediately when she had a corneal abrasion.
Not so good with children that are hard of hearing and waste three hours of school time to have her run out talk to me with her back turned impatient and was talking loud to my child! I thought she was educated on children with special needs! You don't yell or get loud when it comes to hard of hearing children that hearing is being corrected with hearing aids because as education teaches us if we don't hear well it affects the way we think speak and 1comprehend!!!!
