Price gouging during water emergency in Owensboro KY. Raised bottled water prices from under $3 for case of 24 to $5 per case. Reported them to the attorney general.
I was in Kroger’s on the evening of July the 1st. Number one the shelves were mostly bare. When got to check out, number two there was no one to bag groceries !!! 5 people were standing at the time clock waiting for minutes to click off so they could clock out !!! I ask for the manager and of course, the manager was gone for the night. It was a terrible experience. Not my first bad experience either. Ugh. Guess I need to find somewhere else to shop for groceries.
I have never had a good experience at the store. Every time I go to the deli I have to wait while employees ignore you. A simple “I’ll be right with you” would help. three out of the four times I have been there they got my order wrong (asked for 1/2 lb &get 1 lb) then acted like it was MY fault. Selection is good, cashiers are ok but again not very friendly
Very rude manager and cashiers. Will not be going back. Aldi’s and Meijers are my favorite by far. Better prices as well.
I want to personally thank Darius at this Kroger for helping me locate a particular item that I was having difficulty finding. I don’t live in Owensboro and was visiting my dad who has recently had a stroke so I was unfamiliar with the layout of the store. I told Darius he was my superhero today! It’s the small things that make a store a wonderful place to shop! I am sure I will continue to shop there when I am helping my dad with his grocery needs!!
I love shopping here. Everyone is so helpful, especially Larenzo Conner. He loves his job and it shows. Always a good experience.

Loved the cashier however after buying a large amount of groceries, no one came to bag them. The cashier started bagging them but no one came until we finished and walked away. I'm done.
So we always always get our gas at Krogers and have never had any issues. Well tonight we went and got 8.00 in our gas can to mow. $8.00!! and they put a hold for 125.00!!! Really?? NOT HAPPY!! What if we had written a check and it comes thru tomorrow? What if we had gone to the grocery and went to check out and we couldnt? What if we were on our way to the movies and thats all the money we had in our account? What if we had gone to eat and that was all the money we had and couldn't pay for dinner?
