I can't believe that you would let an associate get away with denying a law enforcement officer service! I've shopped with Kroger for 11 yrs but I don't know if I will continue to do so or not because so far, u have done NOTHING to rectify the problem.
Kroger -- As a person dedicated to serving my community, I am very disappointed to learn today of your new policy to no longer allow for food drives to be held at your stores. For years, our local Rotary club has held 3-4 food drives per year at our local Kroger stores. All food donated by Kroger customers went directly to the Mason and Kings food banks. HUGE MISTAKE doing away with the $4.00-$10.00 list of RX's. !!! Already transferring to Walmart and passing on info to all people in Madison about this. New Aldis coming right across the street here in Madison Tn. and will be shopping there from now on with a lot of others. HUGE MISTAKE.....
I left the Kroger on Oakwood in Huntsville, Al. I left in tears. I tried to buy cigarettes as I usually do and they asked for my ID. It was very obvious after searching through my purse that I had misplaced it. It also is very obvious that I am in my 60s. I told the manager that I had never been asked for my ID and that they usually asked my birthdate.
